Kazoo Sketch is out on Android

By Team Kazoo · August 16, 2026 · 3 min read

Kazoo Sketch is now on Google Play. The drawing game where the AI does the guessing has landed on Android — the whole game, not a trimmed-down port. Same canvas, same mascot narrating his increasingly wrong theories about your cat.

If you missed the launch: Kazoo Sketch hands you a word, a blank canvas, and a clock. You draw. Kazoo watches the canvas stroke by stroke and calls out what he thinks it is, out loud, while you're still drawing. Sometimes he nails it in three lines. Sometimes he confidently announces your dog is a moth. That is, genuinely, the fun.

And unlike our charades game, there's no camera and no microphone anywhere in Kazoo Sketch. Kazoo only ever looks at the drawing itself.

Everything made the trip

Mixed-phone game night? Rooms works across platforms. An Android host can share a code and iPhone friends join the same room — the drawing streams live either way, so nobody has to care whose phone is whose.

A note on what the AI sees

Kazoo's guessing runs on Google's Gemini models, and the only thing sent is an image of the drawing on the canvas. Not your name, not your contacts, not your photo library — and we don't keep the images Kazoo looks at. The app asks before it sends anything the first time you play, and you can read the whole story in our Privacy Policy.

Solo, or with the room

The thing we keep hearing is that Kazoo Sketch works when there's nobody else around. Charades needs a room. Drawing doesn't — Kazoo is a willing audience at 11pm on a Tuesday, and he will absolutely tell you your horse looks like a sofa.

If acting is more your speed than drawing, Kazoo Charades vs AI is on both stores too — you act out the word and the AI guesses by watching through the front camera.
